Aviation Associates are composed of a Name, ID (cert id etc) and free form notes. Same goes for the Safety Pilot option in the flights entry screen. A quick and easy way to log who gave you dual instruction or who was your safety pilot. All this information is displayed when you run an extract of your logbook.
Custom Logbook Categories Managment

In the lower right hand portion of the pilot profile screen you will see a box called "Custom Flight Time Categories". Simply click the Add button in the top right corner of the Custom Flight Time Categories section to add a new custom category. It is suggested that you use upper case short codes for custom flight time categories so that logbook extracts look uniform and fit on a single page. Custom Flight Time Categories can be a maximum of 10 characters.
Here are a few examples and reasons to create custom logbook categories:
- BUS - Track business expenses or business flight time
- ACRO - Track acrobatic flight time
- HELI - Track helicopter flight time
- FERY - Track ferry flight time
- AGG - Track aggricultural spraying flight time
